+1 Crunchy Butter Escape is a Roblox tower obby with an incremental speed mechanic developed by Motor6D Studios (Group ID: 33239990), created on 23 May 2026. In roughly six weeks it has logged 11.5 million visits, 96,225 likes, and 288,468 favorites, with approximately 11,530 concurrent players at the time of writing — and a peak of 24,026 concurrent players at its highest point. It holds a 97.08% positive rating, placing it among the highest-rated new Roblox games of mid-2026.
The mechanic is one sentence: every butter block you crunch gives you +1 Speed. That accumulating speed is how you climb a wide tower obby built from crunchy butter, pushing through harder levels and unlocking new worlds as your number grows. The game wraps this loop in a deliberate ASMR aesthetic — satisfying crunch audio, creamy visuals, smooth movement — designed to make the repetition pleasant rather than grindy.
What Is +1 Crunchy Butter Escape?
+1 Crunchy Butter Escape is a Roblox obby and incremental simulator combined. The action that generates your stat — crunching a butter block — is the same action that physically moves you through the obstacle course. Every crunch adds a speed unit; that speed determines how quickly you clear the levels above.
From the official game description: “Every crunch = +1 Speed. Climb a wide tower obby built from crunchy butter blocks. Pack on Speed to press through tougher levels and unlock new worlds. Hit Win buttons to earn wins and boost your gain rate. Race friends and other players. One wrong move and you’re back at the start.”
Motor6D Studios last updated the game around 15 June 2026. The studio has also released +1 Crunchy Wax Escape as a sister title using the same crunch mechanic with a wax aesthetic.

How +1 Crunchy Butter Escape Works
Three mechanics run simultaneously:
Crunch for Speed. Each butter block you interact with adds 1 to your Speed counter. The butter blocks make up the tower itself, so stat accumulation and physical progress through the obby happen in the same action. You crunch your way up.
Climb the wide tower. The tower is built wide rather than narrow — unlike single-lane obbies with no margin for error, the wide format gives room to move at varying speeds. Higher floors require higher Speed to clear efficiently; the obstacle configurations get tighter and faster as you ascend, and your accumulated Speed is what lets you push through them.
Hit Win buttons. Win buttons are special interactive elements on the tower that, when reached and activated, earn wins and boost your overall gain rate — making each subsequent crunch faster to accumulate. They create a secondary optimization target: alongside clearing the next floor, you want to find and hit Win buttons along the route.
Race other players. With 22 players per server, the competition is direct and visible. Another player above you on the tower is real-time feedback on where you stand. The 22-player cap keeps servers active without making the race feel anonymous.
ASMR Design: Why It Works
Motor6D Studios explicitly positioned the game around ASMR sensory design. The official description calls out: “ASMR vibes included — satisfying butter presses, crunchy shell cracks, smooth movement, and creamy visuals for the perfect mix of climb & chill.”
Each butter block produces a distinct crunch sound on interaction. The cumulative audio of climbing through a tower of crunchy butter blocks is more akin to a sensory loop than a standard obby grind. This design choice is one reason the game’s average playtime (4.18 minutes per Rolimon’s data) is disproportionately high relative to how quickly players fail and restart — the ASMR feedback makes replaying feel pleasant rather than punishing.
The “creamy visuals” component — warm butter color palette, soft lighting — reinforces the sensory tone. The game is deliberately cozy-adjacent in its aesthetic, which separates it from the more aggressive or competitive visual styles of most Roblox speed sims.
Related Butter and Obby Games
Motor6D Studios has released one sister title in the same genre:
- +1 Crunchy Wax Escape — the studio’s follow-up using wax instead of butter. Same crunch-for-speed mechanic, different material and visual palette.
The broader “+1 incremental obby” wave on Roblox in 2026 also includes:
- +1 Speed Butter Escape guide — a separate butter obby by a different developer in the same wave; every step adds Speed rather than every crunch
- +1 Backflip Obby Escape guide — Jump = Backflip’s 37M-visit course where every backflip adds Speed; wider reach than the butter variants but same incremental-obby format
- ASMR Tower guide — Tiny Pepe Studio’s 5.7M-visit competitive tower climber with power-ups; similar ASMR aesthetic framing but a PvP slap mechanic instead of speed accumulation
